AFSA invites all members of the Foreign Service who have been affected by the recent drawdown of diplomatic personnel in Russia to a conversation at AFSA headquarters, 2101 E St NW, on Thursday, September 14 from 4:00-5:00 p.m.

We hope that this will be an opportunity for you all to meet and talk, for AFSA to listen to your experiences, and for you to tell us if and where we can be helpful to you. AFSA President Ambassador Barbara Stephenson and other members of the AFSA Governing Board will be on hand, as will members of AFSA’s professional staff. As your professional association and labor union, we want to be there for you and do our best to make sure that your unanticipated transition is as painless as possible.
