The popularity of AFSA’s nat ional essay contest and book, Inside a U.S. Emba ssy , drew approximately 40,000 non- Foreign Se rvice visitors. AFSA's Web site offers an excellent o pportunity to introduce the public to the valuable ro le members of the Foreign Service play in serving t heir country. Additio nally, AFSA Web site statistics indicate that visitor s to our site are downloading greater quantities of information, viewing more pages and returning t o our site more frequently. The AFSA Web site is providing Foreign Service members with content-ric h information as well as serving as a resource fo r many non-Foreign Service visitors.
