The Foreign Service Journal, June 2025

The Foreign Service Journal welcomes book submissions for “In Their Own Write,” our popular November-December FSJ feature highlighting the literary talent of the Foreign Service community. We want to share your works of fiction and nonfiction, biography, poetry, memoir, and more, in time for holiday shopping. To be featured, your book must have been published between July 1, 2024, and September 1, 2025, and be available for purchase by September 1, 2025. It must not have been included in a previous FSJ collection. Current and former members of the Foreign Service and their immediate family members are eligible to submit a book. We are relying on you, the author, to share information about your book. We will craft your ITOW entry based on your responses to these questions: 1. What is the full title of your book? 2.
