The preferred can- didate will have a distinguished record as a senior practitioner in international relations. He or she may have experience in such fields as diplomacy, international trade, de- velopment, international organizations or international women’s issues. The suc- cessful candidate will have been involved with foreign policy formulation at a senior level and should be familiar with pertinent U.S. policies.
