Ambassador Theodore Sedgwick will discuss the Commission's work, the April 6 Centennial Event in Kansas City and the plans for building a Memorial at Pershing Park. The Commission was established in 2013 and has four living Presidents as honorary chairs, 12 appointed Commissioners, a Historical Advisory Board of 20 historians, a Diplomatic Advisory Board and ex-officio partners, such as the Smithsonian and the Library of Congress. Ambassador Tod Sedgwick is a Fellow at the Transatlantic Center at SAIS and a Senior Fellow at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress. He previously served as the Ambassador to the Slovak Republic and is a board member of CAA. This event costs $25 and includes lunch.
