Come to AFSA on July 12 hear how three successful Foreign Service members advanced through the ranks with very different career paths. Our panel presentation will be kicked off by AFSA President Ambassador Barbara Stephenson, and will include Ambassador John Feeley, former U.S. Ambassador to Panama; Virginia Bennett, former Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor; and Karen Brown Cleveland, the Deputy Regional Director for Africa in the High Threat Programs Directorate of the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. Panel members will briefly share some words of wisdom from their varied paths to success and we will leave plenty of time for your questions. Pizza and soft drinks will be served, so come join us for lunch and what we expect will be a lively discussion.
