AFSA is pleased to announce our second Webinar on retirement related issues in 2023, “Early and Mid-Career Retirement Planning” on Tuesday, April 25 at 1:00 p.m. EDT. A second session will be offered at 8:00 a.m. We are offering two identical sessions for ease of scheduling for our global participants and due to the popularity of the program. Click here to register for the 1:00 p.m. session.
AFSA Vice President for Retirees and former Director of the Department of State’s Office of Retirement John Naland will provide a 30-minute overview of steps that early and mid-career employees can take to avoid major oversights in their retirement planning and to best position themselves for life after the Foreign Service; a Q and A session will follow his presentation. These checklists, Retirement Planning: Mid-Career Checklist and Retirement Planning: One Year Out, accompany the program and highlight the topics that will be covered.
Please note that this program is geared to active-duty employees.
You will receive an email remainder before the event that will include a link to the Zoom.
