Inside Diplomacy: Creating a More Diverse and Inclusive Foreign Service

Start Date/Time:
Tuesday, April 5, 2022 - 13:00
End Date/Time:
Tuesday, April 5, 2022 - 14:00
Description:

For too much of its history, the Foreign Service has largely been white and male; the lack of diversity continues to be a serious issue despite efforts to improve diversity and inclusion in the workforce. Join us as we sit down with Ambassador Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley, the State Department's first-ever Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, to discuss what needs to happen to improve diversity and inclusion in the Foreign Service, the progress to date, and what challenges still lie ahead. There will be opportunities for Q&A.

This will be a virtual-only event. To sign up for Zoom, click here.
