Mr. Robert Grenier rose through the ranks of CIA’s Clandestine Service to assume leadership roles in the greatest national security challenges of his time – as CIA Chief of Station for Pakistan and Afghanistan at 9/11, as CIA’s White House representative during the Iraq campaign, and then as Director of CIA’s Counter-Terrorism Center. Earlier in his career, Mr. Grenier was deputy National Intelligence Officer for the Near East and South Asia, and a special assistant to the Undersecretary of State. He conceived and organized the CIA’s Counter-Proliferation Division, serving as its first Chief of Operations. He also headed the “Farm,” CIA’s basic training center, where he authored the Clandestine Service’s Code of Ethics.
