AFSA is pleased to welcome Steve Gurney, a recognized expert on senior housing, on Thursday, January 18 from 12:00-1:15 p.m. EST to speak via Zoom on "A New Perspective on Senior Living Options.” Mr. Gurney will address a wide variety of senior housing alternatives, including Aging in Place, Assisted and Independent Living Communities, and Home Sharing, to name a few. He also will discuss how to locate and evaluate resources that can help you to find the right situation for you or your loved ones. AFSA members interested in the topic, retired or active duty, are welcome to join.
Inspired by his own experience in helping to find care for his grandfather, Mr. Gurney’s goal is to help make connections, share resources, and improve support and services for seniors and their loved ones. He is the founder of the Positive Aging Community and its accompanying Sourcebook.

For those unable to participate in the live event, the program will be available for viewing approximately one week after the event on www.afsa.org/video. There will be a limited period after Mr. Gurney’s presentation for questions of a general nature.
We look forward to seeing you on January 18 via Zoom!
