Congressman Connolly, a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, has extensive connections to the Foreign Service having participated in the drafting of the Foreign Service Act of 1980 while working as a Congressional staffer. Congressman Connolly takes a particular interest in the future of international development and transparency and accountability in foreign aid and his Northern Virginia district has one of the largest concentrations of Foreign Service families in the U.S. You're encouraged to come an hear his thoughts and ask questions on topics of interest to the FS community.
