With Hon. Jimmy Kolker. The importance of outbreak prevention and response to American relations with countries around the world was highlighted by the 2014 ebola epidemic in West Africa. After a 30-year Foreign Service career where he served as the U.S. Ambassador to Uganda (2002-2005) and Burkina Faso (1999-2002), Ambassador Jimmy Kolker has for the past ten years been working full-time on global health. He is currently Assistant Secretary for Global Affairs in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The event costs $25.
